Are there study spaces available?
Yes, there are a limited number of study spaces available on the Limerick campus. For more information on the terms and conditions of attending an on-campus study space booking, please read here. Bookings can be made through the MIC library site here.
Have there been changes to college services and supports?
Yes, the way services and supports are operating is different at the moment and a lot of offices and supports are working remotely or online. Most importantly however, they are still available for students. See here to view the MIC information or read about the various services and how you can access them in the MISU Student Supports portal.
Are there resources and advice available to me for Academic Writing and assignments?

Dr. Paul O'Brien from the Academic Learning Centre facilitated an Open Zoom meeting for Academic Queries on Tuesday 10th November 2020, where he answered questions, shared advice and resources. The additional academic writing resources he recommended can be viewed here.

Yes, via the Academic Learning Centres on each campus.

What is advised for accessing an essential service on campus?
If you do need to come to campus, it should be for an essential reason such as accessing the Library or a study space.
Currently, the Libraries are operating Click & Collect services with allocated time slots for collection. Further information on Library services is available here .
There's advice for anyone travelling using public transport is available here – remember to follow the government guidelines of social distancing and always wear a mask on public transport.
If you are in doubt about whether or not you should travel to campus, you can check with someone in MISU or the college before coming to campus.
Where can I find forms for rechecks, appealing grades and viewing scripts?
All of the forms are available on the Student Academic Administration (SAA) section of the MIC Student Portal. You will need to enter your Network Log-In details.

The I-Grade Committee will meet to review all I-Grade applications on Tuesday 25th May, 2021. You will be notified of the outcome of your I-Grade application when Spring results are published on Monday 21st June, 2021.
