MISU are excited about the developments that have taken place over the summer on the Thurles campus as well as those which are planned over the coming academic year.
The MISU office is located on the second floor of the main building and the Thurles College Officer (MISU Exec member) Evan Gorrell, is on hand to advise class reps and students on questions and issues that arise. Keep an eye on our social media platforms for drop in hours for Evan over the academic year.
Evan reports back to the Sabbats, the MISU President (position to be filled) and Rachel Dunne, MISU Vice President, ensuring that every student has a voice and is represented as a member of MISU. Evan attends the weekly MISU Exec meetings (by phone, skype or in person) to bring forward any ideas, issues or concerns which the Thurles students have.
The Sabbats will be available to meet with on campus on a regular basis in the coming year so don’t be shy with getting in contact or dropping in for a chat. If there is ever a time where you feel that you need a MISU representative for advice, to attend a meeting, to assist with event organising or to represent you or your classmates, contact our MISU Thurles office on 0504 20598 or call MISU Limerick Office on 061-400013. We’ll be happy to help you or point you in the right direction!
