MISU Elections 2021 - 3 DAYS until Nominations CLOSE

Nominations to run for Sabbatical or Executive Committee Officers close at 5pm on Friday 26th February 2021. To register your interest, you must email the MISU Returning Officer, Daragh Gallagher at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. from your MIC Student Account. You will receive an email from the Returning Officer outlining what you will need to do before your nomination can be approved and you are eligible to stand in the MISU Election. This email will be sent to your MIC Student Email account.

MISU Elections 2021 Meet the Candidates

The following students are running in the MISU Elections 2021 - they have each prepared a manifesto, which is what they promise to work on if elected by students! Reading the manifestos allows you to find out more about the candidates. Click on the candidates' name below to read their manifestos.

You will have an opportunity to ask the candidates questions at Hustings, which takes place on Wednesday 3rd March at 6pm (more details to follow).

Voting day is Thursday 4th March (8am to 6pm) - you must be a current student to vote in MISU Elections. Your Vote = Your Voice. Make it heard to shape your Union!
