As we head into the Elections period, you will have a lot of different questions in relation to the timeline, nomination process, positions, etc, so we have compiled a few FAQs that will hopefully answer any Election related queries that you have. What are the Elections?
The time of year when you, the MIC student body, elect fellow students to the Full-Time positions of President and Vice-President/Academic Officer as well as to a number of part-time officerships. These elected students make up the MISU Executive Committee who represent you at all levels within MIC.
I want to run for a Part-time position, will it affect my studies/college life?
No - it will not have any effect on your studies or your college life. These positions are PART-TIME, meaning that you can easily complete your duties along with your studies and the other aspects of Student Life.
I want to run in the election, how does the Nomination process work?
