Camp Counselor – Summer Camp USA (via CCUSA)

Spend your summer working at a traditional American summer camp! The Camp Counselor program offers participants the opportunity to work with children and teenagers while leading activities, supporting camp programs, and helping create a fun and safe camp environment. No formal coaching or activity qualifications are required, as camps provide guidance and training for staff. This is a great opportunity to gain leadership experience, develop confidence, and experience cultural exchange in the US.

Salary:

Participants receive a camp stipend with a minimum payment of $2,300 USD for the summer, depending on placement. Accommodation and meals are provided by the camp.

Hours:

Camp counselors typically work 8–10 weeks during the summer. Hours vary depending on camp schedules and activities.

Interview:

Applicants will usually complete an initial interview with a program representative after submitting their application. Successful applicants may then take part in virtual interviews with camp directors who are recruiting staff for their camps.
