Vacancies

Current Vacancy – Thurles Student Community Organiser (SCO)

Do you want to get paid for turning the things which Thurles students care about into real change? MISU is hiring a Student Community Organiser for Thurles and if you've ever thought “something should be done about this,” then this is your chance to be the one who does it and gets paid for it!

As an SCO, you’ll be the voice of Thurles students within MISU. You’ll chat with students, spot the issues that keep coming up, and help turn everyday frustrations into real campaigns that get results. You’ll keep an eye on the online Ideas Board and pull together campaign teams when an issue takes off, and work directly with the Advocacy Officers to make sure Thurles voices land in front of the people who make decisions.

It pays €14.85 an hour for 8–10 hours per week, fitting around your timetable. Further info on the role is available here: https://misu.ie/your-voice/democracyframework/

If you have any questions, want to express your interest in the SCO role or want to have an informal chat, please email chloe.keogh@mic.ul.ie.
