To bring together students with an interest in Home Economics, food, textiles, crafts and related areas. The society will provide opportunities for students to develop practical skills, share ideas, socialise and participate in workshops, activities, guest talks and events related to Home Economics and education.
The Home Economics Society is a welcoming and social group for anyone interested in Home Economics, whether through cooking, baking, textiles, crafts, sustainability or education. Members will have the opportunity to learn new practical skills, meet other students, take part in fun activities and attend events that support their personal, academic and professional development. No previous experience is required — everyone is welcome!
