Grab & Go Breakfast
Our Grab & Go Breakfast pack is available Monday to Friday from 8:30 am. You can pick up your pack in an Siopa.
Food Parcels
Our food parcel service provides you with a bag of essential dry and tinned goods such as pasta, soups, tea, and canned fish, beans, peas and tomatoes. This service is offered with the support of the Mid-West Simon Community.
Hygiene Kit
Our hygiene Kit service provides you with a bag of travel sized essential toiletries.
Swap Shop Rail
Our Swap Shop Rail is based in the MISU Information Hub on the Limerick Campus and is an opportunity for you to donate or redeem an item of used clothing, free of charge!
Items that can be donated include clothing, shoes, hats, scarves and bags.
To donate an item, drop by the Information Hub and hand the item to a member of the MISU Staff. You will receive 1 coupon for ever item donated.
This coupon can be used to redeem an item from the Swap Shop Rail at a later date or can be used straight away.
Please note, only clean, wearable, and good quality items will be accepted for donation and MISU reserves the right to refuse items that are considered too worn.
We CANNOT accept swimwear, underwear or earrings for hygiene reasons.
MISU Student Welfare Fund
If you are experiencing a financial emergency that requires short term aid, the MISU Student Welfare Fund is available. Students can apply to the fund once per academic year for up to €100. There is no requirement for students to submit documentation to apply for the fund, all that is required is completion of the application form.
