The Voluntary Part-Time Student Officerships are exactly as they say - A 1 Year Voluntary Opportunity on the MISU Executive Committee where you will gain and develop knowledge and skills that will put you steps ahead on your career path!
The five voluntary Part-Time Officerships available are:
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Officer
- Welfare Officer
- Oifigeach Gaeilge (Irish Language Officer)
- Student Activities Officer (Limerick)
- Student Activities Officer (Thurles)
These five voluntary part-time Officerships, along with the two paid part-time Officerships and three full-time Officerships, make up the MISU Executive Committee
Part-Time Officerships can be held whilst you complete your studies and are a great opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge and experience as well as grow and develop your skills, all of which are a big win for your CV and future employment. By getting involved, you will get ahead!
Nominations for the five voluntary Part-Time Officerships opens on Friday, 12th September 2025 at 09:00am.
Nominations close on Friday, 19th September 2025 at 02:00pm and documentation must be returned to the Returning Officer via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Late applications will not be considered.
Voting Day will take place on Thursday, 25th September 2025 from 08:00am to 06:00pm. Counting of the Votes will take place online at 06:30pm.
