As you start into life at MIC or return to life at MIC, there can be some things that you are not 100% certain about, these can range from rooms to services, etc. so we have compiled some FAQs that will hopefully cover everything you need to get settled in.

If your question isn't answered, drop us a DM or an email, give us a call, or pop down to the Info Desk/Info Hub/Info Station and we'll be more than happy to help you!

Where can I park my car?

MIC (Limerick) has limited free parking on campus, as well as paid parking. If these are full, the college provides parking for students at Limerick Greyhound Stadium, with a bus running to and from every 15 minutes. For street parking, Limerick e-parking is an app for parking tickets. More information on Parking can be found here.

MIC (Thurles) also has limited free parking on campus. If you need to park off-campus, download or visit Tipperary E-Parking. This can allow you to pay for parking from your phone and covers on-street parking and some nearby car parks.

Please note that all students parking on-campus (this includes the Park & Ride in Limerick) must display a MISU Parking Sticker. You only need one for the Academic Year. Applications open again in Semester Two if you missed the deadline in Semester One. The sticker identifies you as a student parker to Security does not guarantee you a parking space and does not cover the cost of any on-campus parking fees.

Click here for more info on the different car parks.

Please note that parking on-campus/off-campus is at owner's risk. Please do not leave any valuables in your car.
