On Tuesday 4th May, MIC and the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) announced details of a new scholarship scheme for postgraduate students which will see inter-county players benefit from six fully funded scholarships over the next three years. This new scholarship scheme will commence in September 2021.

The Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science has launched an independent review of the Student Grant Scheme. As part of the review, students and learners are being called on to have their say and share your views. Your part-time student representatives worked alongside the Sabbatical Officers to represent student voices and organise virtual campaigns, events and MISU meetings.
