Applications are now open for two elite sports scholarships, in memory of former MIC staff members Noreen Lynch and Leonard Enright, for those who have excelled in their chosen sport(s). These scholarships, which were introduced in the currect academic year, are open to incoming applicants in addition to current undergraduate and postgraduate students across both Limerick and Thurles campuses.

If you are currently in receipt of the SUSI Grant and are continuing your studies, you need to fill out a renewal form for the next academic year 2021/22. The priority closing date for submitting this form is 10th of June 2021. The general closing date is not confirmed yet, but SUSI have indicated that it is usually in late October/early November.

Are you interested in making a significant contribution to teaching and learning in MIC? As part of a National Forum project, MIC are recruiting 2 Student Advocates for the academic year 2021/22. These are part-time paid posts working on innovative projects.

As we enter into the Easter break, we would like to remind everyone that if you are mixing with other households, ONE CASE can quickly turn into large household/workplace and community outbreaks.
This is an incredibly tough time for everyone, but we must all play our part. Please adhere to the guidelines; Stay at home (unless for essential purposes). Avoid household mixing/large social gatherings. Wear your mask indoors and in crowded places. Practice good hygiene. Contact your GP and self-isolate if you feel unwell.
