The role of the MISU Vice-President / Academic Officer

This is a full-time paid position of a 1-year term.

The Vice-President / Academic Officer deals with all academic issues and plays a key role in the delivery of the Representation, Advocacy & Leadership function. VP Role.pdf

This is a full-time paid position of a 1-year term.

The President is the Chief Spokesperson of MISU and oversees the Representation, Advocacy & Leadership function. The President plays a leading role in maintaining and developing the student experience and represents the student body.  President Role.pdf 

Awards for Excellence 2020

The Awards for Excellence give recognition to undergraduate students who demonstrate excellence in any area of endeavor, including areas such as music, arts and sport (with the exception of the GAA as College & Munster Council bursaries are already available in this area) whilst maintaining a commitment to their academic studies.Click here to find out more

Please Note:
Tickets will be 1 per person on the first day of sale. This is to allow all students that are actually Graduating a fair chance at securing a ticket.
You can purchase additional tickets on day 2 of sale for partners etc.

Shannon Suite (Room 1) - Largest room with 450 guests
River Restuarant (Room 2) - 150 guests
City View (Room 3) - 110 guests
The meal section of the night is split into 3 rooms to facilitate the large numbers, once the meal is finished all rooms will join together in the Shannon Suite for the Graduation DVD screening and Band & DJ.

Please Note: for smaller courses if you would like to keep your entire group together then it is advisable to purchase tickets in one of the smaller rooms ie: PME usually stay together in City View. Cordinate with your class group chats to see what suits you best.
